At our University, research, innovation and creation are equally encouraged. Precisely within this last area, the Creation Office of the Research Promotion Office (DFI) of the Research Vice-president's Office (VRI), has been developing actions that seek to strengthen the creation ecosystem at PUCP.
One of these actions has to do with the generation, systematization and visibility of information linked to creation, which is key to the development of better promotion strategies.Along that same line, a project that seeks to develop the PUCP Creators Catalog has been implemented.
The initiative aims to create a public access catalog that gathers key information about the creators of our community and their creations in different fields, such as visual arts, literature, audiovisual production, design, architecture, performing arts, music, interdisciplinary creation projects, and more. In this way, we will have registered, updated, public and accessible information about creation at PUCP".
Felix Lossio, Ph.D.
Head of the Creation Office (VRI-DFI)
For both our University and our creators, this initiative will provide multiple advantages:
The PUCP Creators Catalog is a mid-term project. The stages are as follows:
Developing this catalog represents a considerable effort; as it involves collecting and systematizing data that may be unrecorded or outdated. For this project, collaboration will occur between different areas of our Research Vice-president's Office, including the Results and Impact Assessment Area of the Research Promotion Director's Office. We will also work in coordination with academic departments, schools, affiliated centers and institutes as well as other units related to the creation, the Library System and, of course, the PUCP creators.
I believe that the PUCP Creators Catalog will be an interesting showcase for the creative production of our community. It will not only increase the visibility and dissemination of an already significant creation ecosystem but also promote the formation of innovative proposals by connecting various disciplines and actors."

Coordinator of the Sculpture Section and member of the Creation Committee of the VRI
In my experience, first as a student and then as a professor, I have notice a lack of collaboration among the different specialties at the University. In these times, where interdisciplinary collaboration is increasingly essential for enhancing our projects, knowing our creators' work is crucial to continue growing as an institution and as knowledge generators."
